Principal Infrastructure Engineer
Join Motion Recruitment to spearhead our digital modernization project. You will design, implement, and support hybrid infrastructure solutions across both on‑prem, Windows Server environments, and AWS cloud. Lead migrations from on‑prem to the cloud, automate CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
30% Automation & CI/CD – Build, test, and deploy using Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and Packer.
70% Hybrid Infrastructure – Manage Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022), VMware vSphere/ESXi, and AWS EC2, networking, and hybrid integrations.
Hands‑on support – Troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure, automate tasks with PowerShell.
Team collaboration – Partner with DevOps, application, and security teams to modernize infrastructure.
Requirements
7+ years of Windows Server engineering and infrastructure support.
Advanced administration of Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022).
Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Packer).
VMware administration (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) and virtualization concepts.
AWS experience with EC2, networking, and hybrid integrations.
PowerShell scripting expertise.
Infrastructure as Code implementation.
Desired Skills
Kubernetes or container platform experience.
Python or Bash scripting.
Relevant certifications – Microsoft, VMware VCP‑DCV, AWS Solutions Architect, Terraform/Ansible.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
