We are actively seeking an experienced, client‑focused Senior Tax Manager to join our Family Office team, specializing in high‑net‑worth individuals and families. The ideal candidate will combine technical tax expertise with a passion for exceptional client service and relationship management.
Core Responsibilities
Client Relationship Leadership:
Serve as the primary point of contact for high‑net‑worth clients, building trust through proactive communication and a deep understanding of their needs.
Proactive Tax Planning:
Lead the development and execution of tax strategies, collaborating with clients and advisory teams to optimize wealth management goals.
Review Complex Returns:
Oversee federal, state, local, and international tax filings for individuals and trusts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Estate & Wealth Advisory:
Participate in sophisticated estate planning and wealth transfer planning meetings with family office team and clients.
Strategic Advisory:
Act as a trusted advisor, identifying tax‑saving opportunities and providing clear, actionable advice.
Team/Staff Leadership:
Develop, inspire and mentor junior staff through a combination of challenging engagements including client management skills.
Technology Leadership:
Leverage tools like
CCH Axcess
to drive efficiency and accuracy across engagements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications / Education
CPA required; MST preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum of 7 years of experience at a mid‑size or large national/regional CPA firm with a focus on high/ultra‑high net‑worth individuals.
Demonstrate expertise in individual, trust, estate, and fiduciary taxation.
Possess polished written and verbal communication with the ability to collaborate successfully with firm leadership.
Compensation Target Salary – commensurate with the level of experience, plus discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits including 401(k).
