Responsibilities This position is responsible for leading the team with all divisional short‑term and long‑term planning initiatives related to Commercial and Individual & Family markets provider network strategy and executing the business plan. This position will lead major, complex, and strategic network initiatives from inception to completion leveraging analytics to drive financial outcomes. This position will use internal and external sources to conduct Commercial and ACA network analyses to deliver competitive market strategy for the division. By having a strong foundational understanding of network composition and performance levers, this position will lead network optimization and member retention strategic initiatives.
Required Job Qualifications
Bachelor degree and 6 years experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting environment
OR
Bachelor degree and 5 years consulting experience involving strategic planning, business development and financial management operations
OR
8 years of experience strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry.
Experience leading and formulating strategy with the ability to build strong connections with people and teams.
Drive results by working across departments in matrixed environment.
Interpersonal skills, including presentation, written and verbal communication.
Experience with business analytics and information synthesis.
Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends.
Able to work within a very fast‑paced, quickly evolving organization and manage multiple, complex priorities.
Work directly with corporate leadership.
Analytical, program management and problem solving skills.
Preferred Job Qualifications
Advanced degree such as MBA or MHA.
Strong knowledge of ACA health plan strategy, provider networks, key performance indicators, financial acumen, and benefit design.
Strong knowledge of Commercial health plan strategy, provider networks, key performance indicators, financial acumen, and benefit design.
Strong executive‑level communication, presentation, and writing skills.
Experience leading complex conceptual cross‑functional initiatives.
Ability to articulate complex information to leadership stakeholders in a simple and straightforward manner.
Ability to proactively identify and resolve complex problems with minimal oversight.
Ability to see and understand “the big picture”.
Strong desire to be part of high energy, positive, fast‑paced, forward‑thinking, and collaborative team culture.
Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote, (Chicago) Sponsorship is not available.
Compensation: $90,900.00 - $164,200.00
