to lead high-impact operational functions across manufacturing, supply chain, and quality in a mission‑critical role supporting the company’s expansion. The position is open to candidates in any U.S. location, and relocation support is available.
About the Role: The Director of Operations will oversee all daily operations across manufacturing, materials, inventory/logistics, and quality assurance functions. This leader will play a pivotal role in strengthening production efficiency, scaling internal systems, driving continuous improvement, and preparing the organization for AS9100 certification and ERP implementation. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role provides the opportunity to shape operational excellence, develop a high‑performing team, and directly influence the company’s next stage of growth.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead and develop the manufacturing, materials, inventory/logistics, and quality teams
Oversee day‑to‑day operations ensuring on‑time delivery, production quality, and workflow optimization
Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous‑improvement initiatives across operational functions
Strengthen supply‑chain performance through vendor management, capacity planning, and scheduling improvements
Oversee quality management system efforts, including preparation for AS9100 certification
Manage operational compliance, safety, and FAA‑related manufacturing requirements
Partner with leadership on ERP implementation and process‑standardization efforts
What You Bring:
Leadership experience in
aerospace manufacturing
or complex manufacturing environments
Minimum
2+ years of supervisory or management experience
in manufacturing or supply chain
Proficiency with ERP systems; ERP implementation experience strongly preferred
Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification
Strong operational problem‑solving skills with a continuous‑improvement mindset
Ability to coach, mentor, and develop cross‑functional teams
Experience supporting quality, compliance, and structured manufacturing processes
Salary range:
$160,000 – $180,000
(depending on experience)
Full‑time onsite schedule with business‑hours flexibility
Parking provided
All necessary equipment provided
