Position Title Foreman – Travel – Non‑Exempt
Position Overview ADB is a nationwide full‑turnkey provider of technology infrastructure solutions. We are seeking a Foreman to join our wireline team and lead the installation of fiber‑optic cable on various telecommunication projects.
Roles And Responsibilities
Provides proficient‑level manual labor and operations including hand digging, traffic control, entry‑level equipment operations, placing fiber, loading materials, operating equipment, and leading crews on safety‑sensitive utility construction sites.
Reading utility print and map with proficiency.
Independent operation of various equipment (directional drill, mini, plow, hydro, etc.) for at least one year; fully trained in all safety regulations for heavy equipment.
Setup and shutdown of utility construction projects, including traffic control in diverse conditions (highways, side streets, parking lots, downtown locations).
Maintains safety expectations, leading and following required safety practices.
Communicates professionally with customers, subcontractors, homeowners, etc., addressing any complaints or issues.
Trains other construction crew members on fiber installation practices, print reading, equipment operations, OSHA requirements, etc.
Loads and unloads materials and equipment from vehicles at construction yards and job sites.
Leads by example, ensuring safety rules and regulations are followed, and leads others on job sites.
Performs on‑the‑job training with Senior Foreman and/or Supervisors to grow skills in the utility construction trade.
Leads the culture of identifying hazards using the pre‑task process.
Performs other position duties as requested.

Possible exposure to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels onsite.
Regular exposure to all weather conditions: hot, humid, cold, rain, snow, ice.
Required protective safety equipment: safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, steel‑toed boots.
Experience And Education
2+ years of utility construction experience as a crew leader and/or foreman.
1+ year of heavy equipment operating experience (Hydro, Drill, Mini, Plow).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
CDL license (or ability to obtain).
High school diploma or equivalent.
The starting pay for this position is $30.00 and may vary based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
