Orthopaedic Surgeons required for X-Ray (Knee) AI Project

We are seeking orthopaedic surgeons who actively perform and have experience in
Partial
and
Unicompartmental
Knee Replacement (PKR/UKR) surgeries to annotate and label X-rays of knees. To help create expert “gold standard” training data that will train and validate AI models that will be deployed in orthopaedic pathways.
Key Responsibilities
TASK 1
- Full Thickness Lateral Cartilage: Surgeons will review knee x-rays on a dedicated labeling platform and classify the cartilage as either 'Full thickness', 'Lateral narrowing', or 'Bad quality x-ray'.
TASK 2
- ACL Review: Surgeons will review knee x-rays on a dedicated labeling platform and classify the ACL as either 'Functional ACL', 'Absent ACL', or 'Bad quality x-ray'.
Follow structured guidelines to ensure consistency, inter‑rater reliability and high‑fidelity gold standards for downstream annotators.
Qualifications
Orthopaedic surgeon with full license to practice (GMC or equivalent)
Minimum of 3 years experience in knee replacement surgeries
Professional working english and speaking for deliverables
Desirable - Previous experience in data labeling
Legal Status
You will have the right to work in your country of residence.
You will work as an independent contractor.
