Position: Warehouse Associate

Location: Ashburn, VA

Backyard Products is a leading manufacturer of backyard equipment, delivering products such as Residential Storage units, Playground Systems, Pergolas, Gazebos and Green Houses since 1975.

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the Warehouse Clerk role in Ashburn, VA.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload product using a forklift or other equipment
• Load builders and shop trucks accurately and efficiently
• Assist with inventory, schedules, adjustments, and tracking
• Cut and prepare lumber using power tools such as panel saw and chop saw for upcoming builds
• Pull orders and lumber with accuracy for upcoming builds
• Communicates clearly and effectively both verbally and in written formats
• Keeps warehouse area clean and organized

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 0-2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent
• Experience in warehouse responsibilities such as loading and unloading product using a forklift
• Familiarity with construction and/or building materials (knowledge of construction industry or installed services preferred)
• Inventory control experience
• Valid driver’s license

Work Environment: Operates in a professional office environment as well as within a manufacturing environment subject to indoor environmental conditions and noise. Requires sitting, repetitive hand motion, hearing, listening, talking, standing, walking. Often required to climb stairs, reach overhead, pull, push, and lift up to 50 pounds.
