About the FinTech Team StubHub’s FinTech Team owns the financial source of truth that powers our accounting and reporting infrastructure. This system translates high‑volume transactional data into accurate, auditable journal entries, enabling revenue recognition, reconciliation, financial reporting, and compliance (including SOX). As the business grows in complexity, the subledger plays a critical role in supporting new product features, unlocking new business models, and enabling scalable growth through a flexible, modular ledger system. We’re now focused on transforming our subledger into a modern, automated platform that reduces manual work, eliminates error‑prone handoffs, and moves us closer to a fully automated, “no‑touch” month close. This role will partner closely with Accounting, Finance, and Engineering to define the next generation of our financial infrastructure—combining scalability, accuracy, and automation to keep pace with the demands of a global, rapidly evolving business.
What You’ll Do:
Define the product roadmap and prioritization for FinTech Team in the context of our broader organizational strategies and goals
Drive the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products, features, and/or tools, with accountability for all stages of the product development lifecycle
Rapidly learn about the intricacies of cross‑border, multi‑currency, flexible e‑commerce marketplace to understand the complexity and variety of the user flows
Lead a cross‑functional team of engineers and analysts to deliver against an ambitious roadmap that balances short‑term optimization with long‑term strategic investments
Develop and monitor success metrics for Tax Team and instill the insight‑led & analytical approach in teams within their domain
Formulate clear, data‑driven business cases, write feature specifications, manage project execution and sequencing – be able to communicate clearly and defend reasoning to stakeholders
Build the right products and solutions to enable fast, risk‑free growth while remaining compliant and minimizing impact on the bottom line
Understand and foster the culture of balance between reducing risk and moving fast
Define and analyze metrics to inform the success of a product and develop action plans accordingly
Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving, fast‑paced environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
Adopt experimental methodology, mindset and rigor to achieve objectives
What You’ve Done:
8+ years of product management or close equivalent, with experience in finance technology, in‑house ledger systems, or accounting
Ability to manage projects across multiple business organizations and with multiple stakeholders
Ability to influence outside your area of direct control and negotiate to an optimal solution
Ability to break down complex systems and processes so they can be easily understood, and communicate this to other people within the organization
Ability to analyze data to evaluate the behavior and performance of the platform using tooling such as SQL, Snowflake and/or Tableau
Methodical and patient, able to sequence change to ensure minimal risk
Demonstrated ability of strong leadership, organizational and execution skills in a fast‑paced environment
What We Offer:
Accelerated Growth Environment:
Immerse yourself in an environment designed for swift skill and knowledge enhancement, where you have the autonomy to lead experiments and tests on a massive scale
Top Tier Compensation Package:
