Candide Group is seeking a Director of Business Development & Partnerships to expand its fundraising and client acquisition efforts among families, foundations, and institutions interested in impact investing. This leadership role emphasizes raising investment dollars to propel social justice and industry transformation. The candidate will shape and implement strategic marketing and communications to bolster Candide Group’s influence and inspire systemic change across the impact investing landscape. The Director will be instrumental in creating a robust pipeline of prospective clients and maintaining relationships with stakeholders. Their efforts will amplify Candide’s visibility and reputation, unlocking new partnerships and accelerating growth in alignment with Candide’s mission-driven approach. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated success in capital raising and strategic communications, with an emphasis on relationship-based fundraising that champions social justice. Responsibilities
Lead fundraising and client acquisition for large family offices, foundations, and institutional clients. Develop and manage a robust client and investor pipeline for growth in assets under management. Support fundraising strategy and engagement for investment vehicles under Candide’s impact verticals. Build and steward relationships with wealth advisors and mission-aligned networks. Design and implement a multi-year business development and partnership plan. Collaborate with teams to align messaging and outreach for advisory and vehicle offerings. Manage the RFP process and coordinate input for opportunity evaluation. Partner with the communications team to design and execute marketing strategy. Ensure consistent and compelling messaging across investor presentations and events. Represent Candide Group at industry events and in meetings with prospective clients. Maintain detailed client pipeline management using CRM systems. Set goals and track progress against business development objectives. Requirements
Proven track record of raising capital from institutional and private investors. Strong familiarity with the RIA landscape and impact investing. Exceptional relationship-building skills and strategic thinking. Ability to communicate Candide’s values-driven approach credibly. Experience in multi-year business development planning. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with impact investment terms, structures, and social change initiatives. Capacity to operate effectively in a mission-driven and entrepreneurial environment. Proficient in CRM systems and pipeline reporting. Benefits
