About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated
Logistics and Material Management Coordinator
to join our growing team. This role ensures an uninterrupted supply chain through effective planning, logistics coordination, and supplier management. The successful candidate will oversee freight services, inventory management, and supplier performance while optimizing supply chain processes. Key Responsibilities Supply Chain & Inventory Management
Utilize statistical methods to control stock levels, including ABC analysis, Min/Max planning, and lead time management.
Optimize inventory flow and aging inventory strategies to prevent supply disruptions.
Oversee supply chain KPIs such as On‑Time Delivery (OTD).
Manage freight services for shipments between Germany, Canada, and the USA via air, ocean, road, and rail.
Ensure compliance with all relevant freight legislation and continuously improve efficiency.
Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize distribution to customers in North America.
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive cost optimization, quality assurance, and risk mitigation.
Work cross‑functionally with customer service to provide accurate lead‑time communication.
Conduct supplier performance reviews and maintain timely report cards.
Process & System Optimization
Oversee the development and implementation of systems to enhance purchasing and planning efficiency.
Ensure accurate maintenance of records, including supplier information, payment terms, and rejection reports.
Resolve supply discrepancies and elevate issues as needed.
Qualifications & Experience Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management from an accredited university.
Professional Certification such as CPSM, CPIM, or related certifications highly desirable.
Experience & Skills
3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
Expertise in supply chain KPIs, statistical analysis, and inventory management (ABC analysis, OTD, etc.).
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office (MS 365 preferred).
Strong time management, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
In‑depth knowledge of freight legislation and compliance.
Additional Assets
Fluency in German is a strong asset.
Proven negotiation skills and experience in international supply chain management.
Working Conditions
Full‑time position based in
Milwaukee, WI , initially remote, transitioning to hybrid once a local office is established.
Travel required for training at North American Operations in Mississauga, Ontario, with
10‑15% travel
to other global sites.
