Chief Medical Officer
Bridges Healthcare, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Chief Medical Officer.
Position: 20 hours per week ($150,000 per year).

Purpose and Position Overview Serve as chief medical officer ensuring high quality medical/psychiatric care in Adult and Child departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee and direct operations of the medical department.
Provide consultation and/or psychiatric support in the evaluation and treatment of patients.
Provide clinical leadership to staff.
Ensure coordination of client medical care.
Collaborate with the fiscal department in the development of budgets and forecasts for the medical department.
Supervise, coach and provide guidance to supervisees.
Perform any other department or agency‑related duties or special projects as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Competencies
Medical degree from an accredited college or university and a completed residency in psychiatry.
Board Certified/Eligible in Psychiatry.
Current State of Connecticut medical license and State Controlled Substance Registration and a Federal DEA certificate.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Computer literacy.
Ability to prioritize and organize schedules/demands.
Certification in addiction preferred.
