Position Overview Edgesource is actively seeking a motivated IC Capture Manager to join our existing Business Development team to contribute to the organizations continued growth and success within our Intelligence Community (IC) portfolio. The person in this role will be accountable for business growth and responsible for leading and winning services as well as solutions-based new business, including competitive captures of significant size, complexity, and/or a unique/complex business model. This role will require on-site work in our Northern Virginia SCIF at least 3 days per week.
Job Duties
Lead proposal efforts for classified IC programs, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and IC customer priorities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with IC stakeholders, including program offices, contracting officers, and key decision-makers within classified environments.
Author, review, and manage classified proposals, white papers, and Market Survey responses, ensuring compliance with IC security and proposal requirements.
Establish and execute IC-specific capture strategies, including customer engagement plans, partnership development, and win strategy mapping to maximize success in competitive IC opportunities.
Independently identify and pursue new classified business opportunities, driving growth in IC programs while mitigating risk.
Collaborate with proposal, business development, and leadership teams to develop IC-focused marketing campaigns, messaging, and outreach at tradeshows, conferences, and industry events.
Provide accurate, timely, and IC-sensitive forecasting of prospective business opportunities to inform leadership and resource planning.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
8+ years of related work experience.
An already established network within the IC.
Experience with leading programs and business capture initiatives.
Experience working with and understanding of the IC Information Technology markets and customers.
Extensive knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and federal government budgeting processes.
Strong communication skills experienced with briefing senior business executives and customers.
Ability to be onsite 4 days in Chantilly, VA.
Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED)
Advanced degree in a related field.
Possess an active security clearance.
Shipley Associates or other related training/certifications.
Proposal management certification from APMP or equivalent is desired, but not required.
