Head Coach & Community Manager - Mt. Vernon Square, DC.
Solidcore is looking for a Head Coach who is passionate about sharing the Solidcore brand and workout. Reporting to the Area Manager, the Head Coach is responsible for various tasks that support the studio and the company mission. The Head Coach is expected to role model the qualities of an exceptional coach, coach an average of eleven (11) classes per week, deliver a best‑in‑class experience, and lead coach development.
Responsibilities
Serve as the studio’s lead coach, maintaining a full schedule of 11+ classes per week.
Set expectations and serve as an example for new and existing coaches.
Deliver a best‑in‑class fitness and customer service experience consistent with Solidcore standards.
Meet company utilization and retention expectations at both the individual and studio level.
Take direction from the Area Manager to assist with day‑to‑day studio operations.
Lead outreach and marketing efforts to scout new clients and create long‑term community partnerships.
Provide coach development, delivering feedback and assisting with new coach trainings.
Respond to client requests and resolve concerns promptly and effectively.
Maintain product knowledge for retail operations, including class packages, promotions, and apparel.
Execute routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies, conducting inventory, and maintaining sales logs.
Ensure the studio and equipment remain impeccable and fully functional at all times.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Permanent, non‑exempt, full‑time position; expected 40 hours per week including classes.
Flexible and variable availability, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate training schedules and business needs.
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds.
Proficiency in G‑Suite and MS Office, specifically Excel and Google Sheets.
1–2 years of prior group‑fitness experience.
Optimism, hard work, and a love for health, fitness, and the Solidcore workout.
Passion for helping others become the strongest version of themselves and building relationships.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, people‑focused, entrepreneurial environment.
Outgoing, personable, and a team player with a positive attitude.
Reliable, professional, and comfortable leading a fast‑paced class with loud music and high energy.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation range: $60,000 – $63,000 per year.
Bonus eligibility based on performance.
