Position Overview Loenbro is seeking an experienced Director of Quality to support our Industrial Services (West) business unit, specializing in fabrication, mechanical, structural, civil, scaffolding, coating, and electrical services for industrial facilities. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and customer expectations. The Quality Manager will work closely with project teams, field personnel, and leadership to drive continuous improvement and maintain the highest standards of quality in electrical construction.
Job Duties
Develop and implement a company-wide Quality Management System that aligns with industry best practices and customer requirements.
Establish standards for field installation procedures, inspection, and testing plans.
Define and implement audit procedures to ensure consistent quality performance.
Create a framework for continuous improvement and corrective action.
Build and lead a high-performing Quality Control team across all service lines.
Manage the team responsible for conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Provide training and guidance to the team to ensure consistent execution of quality standards.
Foster a culture of quality and accountability within the organization.
Ensure all processes and procedures comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Oversee and maintain industry certifications, including AISC Certified Fabricator and AISC Certified Erector.
Lead the preparation and submission process for maintaining current certifications and pursuing new certifications.
Develop and manage corrective action plans to address non-compliance issues.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive quality reporting system.
Provide regular quality performance updates to senior leadership.
Analyze quality data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and drive quality improvements.
