Engineer Technician

Video Engineer Location Downtown Dallas, TX | Onsite Compensation & Schedule • $65.00-$70.00/hour • Full-time • W2 • Start date: ASAP ROLE IMPACT The Video Engineer ensures reliable, high-quality video and audio systems that support live events, broadcasting, and streaming needs. This role directly impacts continuity of operations by maintaining equipment uptime, optimizing system performance, and partnering with production teams to deliver professional-grade visual output. KEY DUTIES • Install, configure, and test cameras, monitors, switchers, audio systems, and related video equipment. • Operate video systems for live events, broadcasts, and recordings. • Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting to meet broadcast color and sound standards. • Provide timely technical support and collaborate with directors, production teams, and technical staff. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • HS Diploma or GED required. • 5-7+ years' experience supporting large-scale or multi-site video operations. • Bachelor’s degree in video production, electrical engineering, or related field preferred. • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting professional video systems and components. • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. • Ability to lift, move, and transport video equipment as required.
