What You’ll Do
Lead strategic growth and drive HDR’s global market share.
Serve as a trusted advisor to key clients, aligning HDR’s capabilities to meet their goals.
Lead major pursuits and campaigns, developing winning strategies and guiding proposal efforts.
Collaborate with market and operations leadership to shape regional strategic plans.
Mentor and train business development teams to foster a client‑focused culture.
Align resources and talent to client needs, helping attract and retain great people.
What You Bring
Achieve global booking goals for the Waste Sector.
Manage regional waste business development leaders and maintain strong market trend understanding.
Collaborate with the Waste Sector Director to define vision and plans.
Develop and drive cross‑market strategic initiatives within RBG.
Lead major pursuit teams and develop capture strategies.
Identify and hire management, technical, business development and marketing talent.
Develop training on business development and marketing best practices.
Serve as a client manager for significant waste sector accounts.
Build partnerships with teaming partners and professional associations.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Professional or engineering registration or certificate, or related technical experience.
Experience winning high‑value contracts in the waste industry.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 15 years relevant industry experience.
Self‑starter with history of completing projects with limited oversight.
Deep knowledge of A/E/C procurement of professional services.
Ability to motivate and inspire others.
Build a network of clients and industry partners.
Experience in sales and developing effective win strategies.Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Willingness to travel and engage in‑person.
Experience growing programs in new or competitive markets.
Experience winning high‑value contracts in A/E/C industry.
Ability to write compelling content from technical staff information.
Remuneration & Benefits
Targeted salary range: $167,580 – $277,200 (based on experience, education, location). Comprehesive benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, employee assistance, paid time off, parental leave, retirement plan with employer match, referral bonus, tuition reimbursement.
Location
Primary: Omaha, Nebraska; Secondary locations include Texas, North Carolina, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Maryland, Montana, California, Washington, and others.
Schedule & Employment
