Team Leader – Experienced Advisor Recruiting

Mission: The mission of the Team Leader for Experienced Advisor Recruiting is to ensure we hire the right Experienced Financial Advisors, create a best‑class onboarding experience and act as advocates for financial advisors to continue their success at Edward Jones. As an Experienced Advisor Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead multiple recruiters focused on full‑cycle sourcing, attracting and selection of experienced advisors. You will work closely with your leader, team, and key stakeholders both inside and outside of Market Management to allocate recruiting efforts to priority areas of the country to support the growth and health of the firm.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train and develop recruiters in sourcing, recruiting, selection skills and strategies to generate qualified Experienced Advisor leads through various sourcing channels and targeted recruitment campaigns.
- Partner with Experienced Advisor Recruitment Marketing to execute on Experienced Advisor recruitment strategies and targeted campaigns.
- Understand the competitive landscape to make informed, effective decisions on which firms to target and why.
- Responsible for evaluating and prioritizing proposed attraction activities to increase the number of leads in our recruitment contact management database.
- Accountable for tracking and monitoring consistent contact management strategies for all experienced advisor leads that are being inputted and worked by the Recruiters.
- Lead specialized projects to further improve the overall impact of Experienced Advisor Recruiting.
- Develop and maintain an enriching, positive professional work atmosphere which supports the efforts of all associates to complete their responsibilities.
- Provide clear, consistent and accurate information to leadership in reports and other forms of communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Series 7 required.
- AIRS CIR and CDR required.
- 10 years of recruitment/hiring experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in Financial Services or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership/management experience.
- Must have the ability to lead, manage and develop multiple leaders, associates and programs.
- Must have recruiting and sourcing knowledge including the use of social networking sites, cold sourcing, contact management systems and applicant tracking systems.
- Must have advanced knowledge of behavior‑based selection.
- Advanced Internet Recruiting Solutions (Boolean searches).
Travel Requirements
Some travel will be required.
Location
Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
