Overview This role leads US media strategy while ensuring global alignment across markets through consistent communication, shared insights, and unified processes. It oversees planning, guides cross‑market collaboration, resolves operational challenges, and drives team and project leadership.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison between Global and US teams, ensuring consistent communication, alignment, and adoption of shared insights, learnings, and best practices.

Facilitate cross‑market collaboration, helping teams troubleshoot challenges, elevate performance, and maintain a unified global approach.

Own central documentation (playbooks, SLAs, workflows, planning frameworks) to drive global process consistency and operational clarity.

Act as the escalation and operational excellence lead, resolving planning blockers and identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve cross‑team communication.

Lead US media strategy and long‑range planning, defining account direction and guiding high‑level strategic development.

Oversee US media plan development, applying audience insights, evaluating channels, and presenting strategic recommendations aligned with client objectives.

Identify key target insights from briefs to inform communication strategies and ensure plans are grounded in audience and business needs.

Evaluate media vehicles and opportunities, communicating the strongest options and securing client alignment.

Manage projects, resources, and team development, including staffing, supervision, performance oversight, and workload management.

Cross‑sell inter‑agency products and services where appropriate to enhance value and integrate broader capabilities.

Communicates With Internal: Partners with other Strategy members, Strategic Resources, Activation Partners, Finance, Creative and Human Resources External: Significant Client interaction and accountability

Budgetary Responsibilities Responsible for budgeting, controlling costs, planning and scheduling around cost concerns for the business unit.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

B.A. or B.S., preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or related field

10+ years of media planning experience

5+ years of experience in a management capacity

Agency experience highly preferred

Proven experience and success in presenting plans to senior clients and influencing top‑level client decisions related to media strategy and implementation

Excellent leadership, management and motivational skills

Excellent storytelling, interpersonal and quantitative/analytical skills

Detail‑oriented and proven ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

Must be a self‑starter, with strong planning and organizational skills

Computer Skills/Software Knowledge: Microsoft Suite, Nielsen Suite, Kantar, IMS, Flowchart Software, R/F and Optimization Software, Social Tracking tools, comScore, Prisma, Mbox, MRI/GfK, GWI. Understand its capabilities and applications to translate data into actionable insights

Thinks clearly and diplomatically when participating in a discussion to field complex or sensitive questions from clients/internal groups

Professional presentation, training and client‑facing skills

Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills

Accountability and flexibility with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment

Demonstrates ability to define and implement professional standards for team participation, conflict resolution, problem solving, and communication

Able to guide others in defining high level strategy for business unit

Demonstrates an ability to be curious and passionate about our client’s business

Compensation Range: $156,560.00 - $212,500.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
