Primary Purpose Develop and lead teams in analysis, studies, visualizations, and data sciences within an engineering-oriented department. Innovate and create solutions to improve results, efficacy, and accuracy for engineers. Provide data and solution tools to support studies, plans, criteria, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, performance assessments, integrated systems analysis, cost estimates, and budgets related to Exelon's electric distribution facilities. Train and mentor others. Extended hours may be required during storms or emergencies. Primary Duties Lead analysis, studies, visualizations, and data sciences efforts. Develop scalable engineering solutions supporting various planning and operational activities. Mentor team members. Job Scope Influence project decisions with moderate impact, including leading employees or contractors in system commissioning. Apply technical knowledge to promote safety and enhance customer satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Ability to analyze complex electrical and mechanical systems Problem-solving skills and engineering theory knowledge Knowledge of engineering design principles and practices Experience with complex field test equipment 4-7 years of professional engineering experience Knowledge of regulations, standards, codes, and advanced engineering principles Related career experiences or certifications (Engineer in Training, advanced degree, project management certification) Preferred Qualifications Experience or certifications in data science analytics, relational databases, Python, SQL, software integration, data mapping, and cleaning.
