Qualifications & Requirements
Previous customer service experience
At least 18 years old, high school diploma or G.E.D.
English proficient; other languages may be required
Knowledge and experience in terminal and airport operations preferred
Retail and/or hospitality work experience required
Able to stand 3–4 hours at a time
Reading & comprehension of reference materials, instructions, policies & procedures
Professional demeanor and exceptional presentation
Flexible schedule & availability
Background check and fingerprinting required
Drug screen required prior to hiring
Selected candidates will attend and complete paid mandatory training
Job Responsibilities
Minimum 12 months airline experience preferred
Ramp & bagroom experience preferred
Proficient knowledge of airline product systems and procedures
Knowledge of airline computer systems
Ability to perform under pressure
Ability to work in teams and lead ramp team
Able to travel for training
Coordinate weight and balance documentation with Load Control
Maintain daily trip files and station traffic reports and all aircraft handling‑related statistics
Supervise ramp functions
Conduct operational safety/load security checks on aircraft prior to departure; coordinate all operational activities during irregularities
Coordinate all phases of aircraft handling, including catering, cleaning, fueling, crew and passenger boarding/de‑boarding
Check correct buildup and preparation of cargo – destined for bulk loading or unit load devices
Ensure cargo or luggage properly tied down or secured in compartments
Coordinate with gate, steering boarding and de‑boarding related passenger service processes
Secure proper handling of Bagscan
Provide daily monitoring report to Manager on handling performance, document delays and reasons
Responsible for LBI (Left Behind Baggage Index) control
Implement new procedures, processes or product features and enhancements
Plan for and ensure irregularities are handled per customer, economic, and legal considerations
Ensure all aspects of ground handling comply with safety, security and legal regulations at all times
Document checks performed under station operations surveillance concept
Additional Information
Shift: Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings, Graveyard
Language: English required; multilingual preferred.
Salary/Benefits: $18.00 per hour (+$4.50 per hour with medical benefits); voluntary dental, vision, and 401K.
