Willow South Barrington is our broadcast campus and our largest Willow campus.
As the Broadcast Technical Director you will lead the Willow South Barrington Campus production staff team providing technical support for weekend services and other large events. You'll use your experience and talents to develop strategy around volunteer recruitment, training and retention as well as system upkeep across the disciplines of audio, lighting and video.
As needed and available, you will also assist with various Central Arts & Worship ministry projects in the ideating, implementing and creating phases of content development serving all Willow campuses and work with the Willow South Barrington team as we incorporate Central programming/production plans into Willow South Barrington services. In addition, you will also use your expertise in lighting design to lead the team of volunteer lighting designers and ensure the lighting is programmed and appropriate for events.
The salary range for this position is around $77,000 - $106,000 depending on experience and skill set. Job Responsibilities Lead the technical execution of weekend services and events in both operating and coaching roles at Willow South Barrington Contribute to services and large events through brainstorming, Research and Development and implementation in collaboration with Central Arts & Worship including scenic design and production treatment. Oversee maintenance and upkeep of various production systems around campus and particularly in the main auditorium Supervisory duties including 1 on 1 meetings, performance reviews and other duties defined by HR for direct reports on the production team Participate and contribute to the Production Leadership Team as we lead, guide and support the Production staff team. Recruit, train and schedule volunteer stage and lighting team
