The primary responsibility of the Capital Markets Associate/Senior Associate is to provide support to the Capital Markets department with overseeing lender reporting, lender communication, and various levels of administrative tasks. The position will be primarily focused on the debt side of Capital Markets. Specific responsibilities include: Work closely with Director of Capital Markets on construction and existing multifamily debt including acquisition, refinance, and supplemental loans Conduct Monthly/Quarterly reports and portfolio analysis Track multifamily debt and look at feasibility of refinance/supplemental Conduct a variety of tasks with management supporting the multifamily properties Create & Modify requested excel files Participate in lender calls and meetings as necessary Provide support to capital markets team including investor reporting and analysis Prepare deals specific analysis including sensitivity tables, debt analysis, delinquency analytics, renovation Requirements: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in real estate finance Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field Highly proficient in Excel and advanced financial modeling Strong understanding of finance concepts, including discounted cash flows, DSCR, LTV, rate caps, loan covenants, etc. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage and strengthen investor relationships Highly organized, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities Benefits: Base salary and discretionary annual bonus competitive with industry standards $100,000 - $140,000 depending on experience Health and dental insurance paid fully at the employee level by employer Eligible upon hire for 401(k) plan Paid holidays and vacation time
