YOUR ROLE
Director, Carrier Integrations is focused on the successful and efficient delivery of Bold Penguin’s carrier integrations. Ensures the delivery process and outcomes meet customer expectations, drive value of the platform, align leaders and key stakeholders and contribute to the profitability of the company.
What You'll Do
Successfully meet implementation and contractual targets based on company goals. Effectively lead and manage the team’s technical analysts and business analysts to integrate, maintain, enhance and support our customers’ use of Bold Penguin products and services. Foster an agile environment that is disciplined in the execution of SDLC lifecycle resulting in a cost-effective and time-efficient process to design, build, test and deliver high-quality integrations. Maintain and refine integration processes to limit maintenance and improve scalability. Drive zero defect mentality for integrations team, resulting in exceptional up-time for users of the platform. Support the drafting, negotiation and validation of proposal and contractual efforts in concert with the sales, solutions and legal teams. Responsible for the execution of certain company contractual obligations and agree upon SLAs with our carriers, strategic and enterprise partners while working closely with legal and finance teams to ensure proper milestone completion deadlines and requirements, statements of work, design documentation, change management and invoicing. Consult frequently with sales, partnerships, solutions, product and engineering team leaders to ensure alignment on priorities, objectives, roadmap and resource allocation. Demonstrate effective complex problem solving by working across the company to resolve problems, client concerns, and develop solutions. Consult, review and help facilitate project estimates, planning, schedules, resource management and prioritization. Coach, mentor, and supervise team; demonstrate strong leadership, provide direction and professional development. Oversee the establishment, use and evolution of various assets such as project plans, communication decks, reports, policies and procedures, and training materials. Oversee the identification and mitigation of delivery execution risks, change control and escalation protocols. Provide updates and communications of program status to management and executives: execution status, trends vs. baseline, risks, mitigation, and recovery actions. Foster effective relationships with internal cross-functional teams and leaders to ensure timely and efficient delivery. Build and maintain long-term relationships with customer senior and operational leadership. Continually engage with customers to ensure positive communication flow and delivery of expected requirements in the timeline and budget agreed upon. These roles are fully remote, with the exception of onboarding and other optional in-office events. Qualified applicants must reside in certain states, as listed in the application questionnaire and below.

Skills & Experience
10+ years of relevant work experience. 5 -7 years of management experience in API integrations with primary experience in insurance Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems or related fields Strong leadership, project management, and cross-group collaboration skills Knowledge of digital insurance platforms and APIs; functional and technical credibility to sell complex SaaS solutions Proven track record of building and cultivating relationships with strategic external partners Prior experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced, evolving environment Prior experience managing direct reports and achieving project goals within time and budget constraints Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills through all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical Organized with attention to detail Critical thinker who enjoys solving problems Travel may be required as needed up to several times a quarter to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time, (up to 8 hours per day) at a desk working on a computer. Must be able to use standard office equipment for extended periods of time, including but not limited to, a mouse, keyboard, phone and video conferencing.
