Volunteer Properties Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced
Maintenance Technician
to join our team and support daily operations at our apartment communities. This role is vital in maintaining the property's physical integrity and ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and complete work orders for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs. Perform routine maintenance tasks including painting, drywall repair, and minor carpentry. Complete apartment turnovers and make-ready tasks. Ensure grounds, common areas, and amenities are clean and functional. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies. Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Requirements: EPA Certification or HVAC experience is required. Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in multi-family/apartment settings. Working knowledge of building systems: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong communication and time management skills. Must pass background and drug screening.
