Job Description Summary

The WPI Office of Admissions seeks application readers for part time, temporary positions to assist the staff in reviewing application for first year undergraduate admission. Readers will work a minimum of 10 hours per week and up to 20 hours per week from November to March.

Job Description

Review and evaluate applications for first year admission using established application guidelines. Provide summary analysis for other admissions staff and the Admissions Committee that reflects holistic review of all information found within the applicant's credentials.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required. Prior experience in higher education or admissions desired. Prior experience in reviewing and evaluating applications for highly-selective college admissions is desired. Must demonstrate high level of discretion and confidentiality, strong communication skills, attention to detail, time management and good judgment. Must complete Conflict of Interest Training. Candidates must not be employed by a secondary school or as a private independent educational consultant/college counselor.

A secure personal computer (PC or Mac) and high speed internet access are required in a private location.
