We are looking for a qualified EDI IT Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems and integrations. They work with various data formats, protocols, and tools to ensure seamless data exchange between different systems and trading partners. Their role involves analyzing client business requirements, creating and managing EDI maps, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with various teams. Only qualified candidates with relevant skills and experience will be considered.Candidate willneed to pass atechnical test to qualify for this position. Compensation is based on skills and experience This is a full time contract position with remote work from candidate current locationfor Dallas TX USA based company. Re-location is not required for this job. This position requires to work at least for 4 hours during TSG business time (9:00 am to 5:00 pm Central Standard Time CST). This requirement may eventually vary with the increased or decreased presence during TSG business hours depending on your productivity, knowledge, and skills.] Key Responsibilities: EDI System Design and Development: Designing and developing new EDI systems and integrations, including mapping and translation rules. EDI Mapping and Transformation: Creating and managing EDI maps to transform data into different formats (e.g., XML, X12, EDIFACT). Trading Partner Onboarding: Working with new and existing trading partners to establish communication and data exchange processes. System Maintenance and Support: Maintaining and updating existing EDI systems, troubleshooting issues, and providing support to users. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and operation of EDI systems. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conducting testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of EDI transactions. Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for EDI systems, processes, and trading partner information. Following SDLC and Methodologies: Working within established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and using version control systems. Staying Updated: Keeping up-to-date with the latest EDI standards, technologies, and best practices. Skills and Qualifications: EDI Knowledge: Strong understanding of EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT) and protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP). Mapping Skills: Proficiency in creating and managing EDI maps using various tools and techniques. Programming Skills: Experience with programming languages relevant to EDI development, such as Java, C++, or SQL. Database Knowledge: Understanding of database concepts and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle). Integration Skills: Experience with integration platforms and tools (e.g., MFT, APIs). Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve EDI issues. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with others.
