position requiring leadership of cross-functional teams in a 24x7 high-availability environment. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and optimize network infrastructure, server infrastructure, security, telecommunications, and service desk. Provide technical guidance and monitor information systems operations. Manage monitoring and maintenance of network systems including LANs, WANs, wireless, and guest networks. Lead the Network Operations Team to ensure stable network infrastructure operation. Oversee Tier 2 and Tier 3 teams, ensuring alignment with ITIL v4, ISO 20000, and CMMI SVC L3. Act as escalation point for complex incidents, coordinating troubleshooting across systems. Support Active Directory, Azure AD, VPN, VDI, and SD-WAN components. Lead proactive monitoring and problem analysis using tools like SolarWinds and ServiceNow. Develop automation scripts for directory services and endpoint configurations. Coordinate routine testing and analysis of network components. Assist with system and network design decisions including cloud governance. Collaborate on incident resolution, RCA reporting, and service recovery. Drive automation, self-service, and workflow improvements. Oversee configuration management, patch compliance, and KBAs. Conduct technical briefings and stakeholder meetings. Support end users and operational personnel. Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members. Manage remote access and VPN configurations. Oversee virtualization environments like VMware and Hyper-V. Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards and support POA&M remediation. Mentor team members to foster collaboration and high performance. Required Qualifications:
8+ years in enterprise IT operations, with 3+ years in a leadership role. Expertise in networking, Microsoft ecosystems, and cloud platforms. Experience leading Tier 2/3 support teams in a 24x7 environment. Knowledge of ITSM tools, especially ServiceNow, and scripting skills. Familiarity with federal cybersecurity standards and incident handling. Leadership of cross-functional teams of engineers and support personnel. Extensive experience with Microsoft products, virtualization, and network services. Certifications:
ITIL v4 Foundation or higher Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Modern Desktop CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA; CCNP preferred ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (preferred) Security+ or CISSP (preferred) VMware VCP410+ (preferred) MCSE or MCITP (preferred) Tools & Technologies:
ServiceNow, SolarWinds, Zscaler, Asset Panda Microsoft InTune, SCCM, Active Directory, Azure AD, Office 365 Cisco hardware, VoIP, Load Balancers, DNS/DHCP VDI, Windows 11, macOS VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, backup solutions Automation tools like Ansible, Terraform (a plus) Must have:
