Description Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Director of Facilities Planning to oversee the maintenance and functionality of their campuses, including their support departments all located within the greater Oxnard area. You will manage a team of 15 engineers while working cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of all maintenance projects, safety initiatives, and design plans. Primarily focusing on maintaining building exteriors, parking lots, common areas, and the overall upkeep of equipment in patient rooms, this is a high impact role that requires a strong background leading facilities maintenance within a hospital setting. Manage internal and external teams within grounds, maintenance, facilities, and safety •
Direct planning, design, development, and renovation of each facility •
Develop and manage the annual operating and capital budgets •
Ensure projects meet cost, timing, and contractual requirements •
Conduct inspections and implement quality control programs •
Maintain adherence to federal, state, and local regulations •
Serve on the Emergency Response Team and ensure compliance •
Establish long-term facilities goals, policies, and procedures •
Lead energy conservation initiatives to improve sustainability and efficiency •
Recruit, train, and evaluate facility supervisors and staff to maintain a high-performing team •
Ensure Engineers know how to properly use the IT service management platform •
Stay up to date with industry best practices and new technologies Director, Facilities Planning & Operations (hospital facility management exp. req.) Qualifications •
8+ years of progressive facilities maintenance experience required •
Strong operations background within the healthcare industry required •
Hospital facilities management experience required •
People leadership experience required
