Resident Technical Officer (RTO)
5.5 days work week
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise and inspect site works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements. Monitor construction progress and ensure quality standards and safety regulations are met on site. Conduct daily site inspections and keep detailed site records, including daily reports, photographic documentation, and site correspondences. Liaise with consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities to coordinate construction activities. Identify and report any non-conformance, defects, or safety risks, and ensure timely rectification by the contractor. Attend site meetings, technical discussions, and inspections with relevant stakeholders. Ensure proper implementation of civil and structural works in accordance with BCA, LTA, PUB, NEA, and other regulatory bodies’ requirements. Assist in reviewing and verifying construction drawings, method statements, and work procedures. Support project engineers and project managers in technical and coordination matters. Requirements:
Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution. MUST be
registered with IES/ACES as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) . Minimum 3 years of relevant civil and structural experience in building or infrastructure projects in Singapore. Familiar with local codes, regulations, and authority submission procedures. Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and site safety requirements. Meticulous, independent, and proactive with strong problem-solving skills. Proficient in preparing site inspection reports and technical documentation. Able to work 5.5 days/week and attend to site matters when required. Singaporeans only
