The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) will serve as the primary liaison between Coast Guard mission owners and the SMS delivery team to ensure IT services align with operational needs and customer expectations. This role involves driving customer satisfaction, surfacing requirements, and translating user feedback into service enhancements across the USCG VIA Call 1 contract. The BRM will develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, support performance reporting, and champion service improvement. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a customer-centric mindset, and experience in federal IT service delivery. Responsibilities:

Lead engagement with mission stakeholders to gather feedback and requirements. Manage customer satisfaction surveys, analysis, and reporting. Translate user needs into actionable requirements and initiatives. Maintain stakeholder logs and prioritize improvement efforts. Facilitate focus groups and interviews to identify challenges and unmet needs. Partner with engineering, operations, cybersecurity, and logistics teams to ensure solutions meet mission priorities. Provide communication strategies and briefings to align customer expectations with technical teams. Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills in a federal or mission-driven IT environment. Ability to synthesize feedback and develop user experience improvements. Knowledge of federal service delivery frameworks and performance-based contracting. Effective communication skills to convey technical topics to business audiences. Experience coordinating with contractor teams, subcontractors, and end users. Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Information Systems, or related field. Certifications: ITIL v4 Foundation (required), Customer Experience (CX) or Stakeholder Engagement (preferred). Security Clearance: DoD Top Secret (TS/SCI eligible preferred). Experience:

5+ years in stakeholder engagement, service delivery, or business analysis in federal IT. Experience supporting DHS, DoD, or civilian agencies. Familiarity with survey methodologies and customer success practices. SMS is a systems integrator established in 1976, providing solutions to support missions for over 47 years.
