Responsibilities
Manage and enhance the College's brand identity, ensuring cohesive and compelling messaging across digital platforms, print, signage, and campus branding.
Design and execute visually impactful, data-driven campaigns that highlight the College's programs, achievements, and community partnerships.
Oversee campus signage and environmental branding, maintaining consistency with the College's identity and values.
Develop digital-first strategies to boost engagement through interactive content, dynamic visuals, and innovative storytelling.
Create engaging visual narratives using photography, videography, and graphic design to tell the College's stories.
Collaborate with internal teams, faculty, and leadership to align creative strategies with College objectives.
Lead and mentor a creative team, fostering an environment of innovation and growth.
Enhance visual storytelling across platforms, ensuring digital content excellence for social media, web, and mobile.
Manage the creation of event materials, outreach graphics, and branded promotional content for internal and external audiences.
Ensure all brand outputs meet accessibility and inclusivity standards.
Stay updated on trends in design, branding, and digital storytelling, bringing innovative ideas to the College's marketing efforts.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or related field.
Five (5) years of experience in brand management, graphic design, photography, videography, and copywriting, with leadership in creative initiatives and digital campaigns.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Canva, and other design tools.
Experience delivering impactful content across social media, websites, and multimedia campaigns.
Ability to collaborate across teams, understand stakeholder needs, and translate input into cohesive designs.
Strong knowledge of digital storytelling, typography, accessibility, and publication design.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Eight (8) to ten (10) years of relevant experience, with leadership in higher education marketing and visual storytelling.
Experience with emerging technologies like animation, VR/AR, and interactive design.
A portfolio demonstrating high-impact visual work aligned with brand and audience engagement.
Familiarity with Savannah Technical College's mission and values is advantageous.
Experience in an agency setting, working with cross-functional teams and high-profile stakeholders.
