DescriptionWe are currently seeking CT Cross-Trainees to join our team!Locations with Position Openings: Various locations in North County and South CountyPosition Status Options: Full TimeSalary: $37 to $42 an hour As an outpatient facility, we offer an ideal work-life balance with daytime shifts, no on-call requirements, and opportunities for overtime. Additionally, you will be paid during the training period while working toward obtaining your license.This CT cross-training opportunity is designed for radiologic technologists seeking to expand their skills and advance their careers by becoming more versatile. Under direct supervision, the trainee will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT procedures in accordance with the American Society of Radiologic Technologists' Code of Ethics. Success in this role requires a strong desire to learn, grow, and collaborate with both the CT and IHS teams.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:Comprehensively learning cross sectional anatomy, CT physics and radiation safety.Works directly under the continuous supervision of a CT technologist, ensuring CT examinations are performed accurately and in alignment with IHS patient care and quality standards.Able to independently, consistently, and effectively perform the required ARRT clinical procedures. Upon completion, will be eligible to apply for the ARRT CT registry exam.Maintains professional conduct, ensuring patient safety and compliance with protocols and procedures, while fostering a compassionate, friendly patient experience.Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills. Exhibits the potential to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, including appropriate communication with the radiologist when necessary.Flexibility and availability to travel to other IHS CT locations.Proficient in obtaining IV access when required.Experienced in using electronic health record systems, including RIS and PACS.Qualifications:Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a clinical setting.Current ARRT certification, CRT, and BLS required.Associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology.Venipuncture certification required.Completed ASRT CT modules.Why Work for Imaging Healthcare Specialists (IHS)?At IHS, we don't just offer jobs - we build careers.
