Marketing & Communications Manager (Part-Time)

Location:

Preferably within 90 minutes of Great Barrington, MA (Albany, Northampton, Hudson, Hartford, etc.); remote considered for exceptional Northeast-based candidates Compensation:

We’re seeking a

Marketing & Communications Manager

to co-create and implement a layered outreach strategy for the 2026 AVF Leadership Cohort. This is a hands-on, collaborative role for someone who can take initiative, work closely with the Executive Director, and bring fresh energy to both strategy and execution. The position begins with a

3-month trial period (September–November 2025)

focused on marketing and enrollment for the AVF Leadership Cohort. If it’s a strong fit, there is

potential for the role to grow

into a more significant leadership position—with expanded hours, increased compensation, and the opportunity to move into a

salaried role

in 2026. Key Responsibilities

Co-develop and implement a multi-channel marketing plan focused on relationships, storytelling, and alignment Coordinate and support

direct outreach

efforts, including managing and refining personal invitation lists, mailings, and follow-ups Plan, promote, and manage

introductory webinars

and co-hosted interviews Manage and grow our

email newsletter , integrating thoughtful storytelling and community updates Collaborate on

social media

posts and basic ad campaigns (e.g., FB/IG/LinkedIn) Build and maintain a

CRM

to track conversations, leads, and conversions Research and assist in the

purchase of clean B2B lists

for outreach to nonprofits and mission-based businesses Engage potential

partners and organizational allies , coordinating speaking opportunities and email collaborations Support long-term enrollment tracking, funnel-building, and metrics-based evaluation Ideal Candidate

Based in the Berkshires or surrounding region (Albany, Northampton, Hudson, Hartford, etc.)

or

deeply rooted in the Northeast bioregion Brings

experience in both leadership program marketing

and

community-based organizing Skilled in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Streak, Zoho), online forms, and marketing tools (Mailchimp, Canva, Zoom, etc.) Strong writing and storytelling skills for crafting aligned and inspiring outreach Capable of managing details, timelines, and follow-through across multiple channels A strategic thinker who is also happy to roll up their sleeves and get things done Values authentic relationships, deep listening, and collaborative learning Familiar with regenerative culture, systems thinking, or values-aligned leadership Compensation and Commitment
