Production Team Assistant Henry Farms is a family owned and operated business located in Dane, WI. We specialize in growing quality seed corn and premium grains for our customers. Additionally, we produce the grains used in our bourbon and rye whiskey production. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Assistant to join our team at Henry Farms LLC. The ideal candidate will have a passion for agriculture, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment. As a Production Team Assistant, you will assist in the daily operations of the farm, helping with tasks that support raising hybrid seed corn during the growing season and conditioning and bagging during the winter. Key Responsibilities: Assist with planting, tillage, detasseling, and harvesting crops Operate farm machinery and equipment safely Assist with irrigation, crop rotation, and pest control Assist in crop scouting, silk and pollen inspections, and tassel counts Maintain and repair equipment and other farm infrastructure Assist with conditioning and bagging Help with seasonal tasks and special projects as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Botany, Crop Science, or Agriculture related program preferred Prior experience in farming or agriculture preferred Ability to operate farm machinery (e.g., tractors, forklift, skid steer) is a plus Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions Reliable and punctual with a strong attention to detail Effective oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits include: Eligible for yield bonus 401K and company match Schedule: Weekends as needed Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs Let’s work together… Interested in working with us?
