Currently, we are seeking a Sr. Product Manager with at least five years of edge device experience. Responsibilities
End-to-end product ownership for CalAmp's wireless edge intelligence device portfolio. Manage product(s) full life cycle from ideation to market launch and sustaining. Develop and track clear and measurable outcomes, prioritize use cases and requirements. Lead cross-functional teams through rapid, data-driven iterations to ensure customer and business needs are met per original objectives. Identify and drive innovative service offerings enabled through edge technologies. Understand competitors and the market to drive product prioritization positioning. Create new growth opportunities through enabling new and exciting revenue streams and use-cases. Develop and maintain a comprehensive and highly differentiated offering through a clear and effective outcome-oriented roadmap. Partner with Product Marketing to develop and manage product-related collateral such as product briefs, success stories, pricing/ROI model, customer-facing presentations. Meet regularly with key customers, prospects, and partners to solicit input and promote strategy and key value propositions. Assist Corporate Marketing team with press releases, website content, product alerts & promotion. Qualifications
Must Haves 5+ years of product management experience. Experience with wireless devices (Wi-Fi, BLE, 3G/4G/5G). Understanding of product life cycle from conception to discontinuance. Proven ability to navigate complex environments and drive product direction and leadership. Experience working with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, quality, and engineering. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, monitor progress, and report program statuses to management. Demonstrated success researching industry trends, usage analytics, competitive pressures and applying to product strategy and roadmap. Proven experience managing trade-offs and engaging customers. Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation and presentation skills. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field. Strong Pluses MBA. Embedded Software experience. SaaS experience. Telematics or wireless industry experience. Compensation
Market Minimum: USD $104,656.00 / Yr. Market Maximum: USD $179,411.00 / Yr. Additional Information
