Responsibilities What you will be doing:
As a vital partner with the end‑user community, security system integrators, and channel partners, you will develop and maintain positive, sustaining relationships with key influencers in the security solutions segment. Your focus will be to create demand for ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions through education, facilitation, and promotion across the Electronic Access Control (EAC) segment.
Increase brand market presence and sales by supporting end‑user influencers, EAC OEM partners, and security integrators with marketing and solutions support.
Support end user site surveys with the partner community where applicable.
Collaborate closely and transparently with the local Door Security Solutions team.
Record all sales and channel activities in ASSA ABLOY’s CRM tools.
Qualifications
Entrepreneurial spirit and excitement about selling door opening solutions.
Detail‑oriented, organized, and known for effective follow‑up.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and understand architectural and mechanical drawings for secure electronic openings.
Self‑motivated collaborator experienced in closing complex security technology solutions.
Strong communicator, confident presenter, active listener, and solutions negotiator.
Ability to travel up to 30% within the territory.
Comfortable performing responsibilities from a home office or while traveling.
Capability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material.
Education and Experience
College/University degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
Membership in American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) or eligibility for ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification.
Proven track record in developing and closing complex security technology solutions sales and access control within the security management segment.
Extensive experience in multi‑channel delivery strategies and professional follow‑up.
Compensation Salary range: $100 000 – $115 000. Competitive benefits include bonus, 401(k), education assistance, and a supportive work environment.
THIS WAGE RANGE IS A REASONABLE ESTIMATE FOR THIS POSITION AT THE TIME OF POSTING. COMPENSATION MAY BE REVISED AT ANY TIME.
