Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year RN experience in a local market.
Strong knowledge of governmental home health regulations, Medicare requirements, and care plan development.
Preferred: Medical sales experience.
Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of agency operation.
Valid driver’s license with insured, reliable vehicle in good working order.
Responsibilities
Provide community and provider in‑service education in assigned territory.
Maintain daily communication with the Admissions Department and Team Directors.
Collaborate with Hospice Care Consultants to develop and implement individualized marketing plans.
Maintain visibility and accountability to increase relationships with contracted inpatient facilities and physician groups.
Act as a liaison with the AccentCare Hospice Medical Director, team physicians, and hospice physicians on behalf of providers and patients/families.
Make inpatient visits at contracted facilities and communicate with admissions staff, team directors, and/or primary nurse.
Provide consultation on hospice and palliative care.
