We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Dentist to join our team as a Full‑Time Locum/Contract Dentist for
Ute Mountain Ute Health Center
Located in Towaoc, CO 81334. As a Family Dentist, you will be responsible for providing dental care to both adults and pediatrics. The clinic is dedicated to providing quality healthcare to all eligible American Indians and Alaska Natives in the Uintah‑Ouray Service Unit Area.
Key Details
Flexible contract (up to a year) with extension possibilities
Clinic hours: Monday – Friday 8‑5
No weekends, no holidays
Day shift
Family Practice Physician Dentist, Adult and Pediatric
Doctor of Dentistry required
Locum tenens experience a plus
Previous IHS facility experience helpful
2+ years experience required
Must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States
Can work on any state license

Responsibilities
Provide family dental care to patients of all ages
Diagnose and treat dental issues
Educate patients on oral health and hygiene
Maintain accurate patient records
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Indian Preference Exercised Prairie Band, LLC is subject to Title 22: Employment Code of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. Requirements
Minimum of (2) years of experience as a dentist after dental school. (2) years of fellowship can count as this experience.
Minimum Education: DDS or DMD Degree from an Accredited Dental School Program, doctorate is required.
Current certification in BLS (Basic Life Support).
Active, unrestricted, and free of disciplinary action license as a Dentist in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to patient‑centered care.
Driver's license may be required.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills; ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule.
Must be a US citizen, primarily living in the USA.
Must be willing to complete a federal background check.
Willingness to comply with all state and federal regulations regarding medical practice.
