Position Summary The Business Transformation and Business Excellence leader at Primoris is a senior‑level position that directs the company's efforts to drive operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and strategic change across all functions, with a particular focus on renewable energy, solar, BESS and manufacturing businesses. The role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance process design, adopt new technologies, and foster a company‑wide culture of excellence.
Primary Job Responsibilities Strategy & Project Leadership
Provide strategic leadership for enterprise‑wide transformation and process improvement projects, ensuring they align with Primoris’ overall business objectives.
Develop and implement transformation roadmaps, define project scopes, allocate resources, and manage timelines and budgets.
Utilize methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement practices to identify and execute process optimization opportunities across the business.
Hire and staff supporting personnel to facilitate training and support all departments as needed.
Process Optimization & Technology Adoption
Analyze end‑to‑end business processes in areas such as construction, engineering, estimating and supply chain to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Evaluate and recommend new digital tools, platforms, and technologies to support transformation, such as the ERP migration initiatives underway at Primoris.
Develop and maintain documentation for standardized work and improved processes to ensure sustainability.
Change Management & Training
Act as a change champion, leading change management efforts to minimize employee resistance and ensure smooth adoption of new processes.
Work closely with functional leaders and subject matter experts to engage stakeholders and build consensus for initiatives.
Create and deliver training programs for employees and leaders to build organizational capability in process improvement and excellence.
Data Analysis & Performance Management
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the impact and success of transformation initiatives.
Use data‑driven insights to make informed decisions and continuously track progress against performance benchmarks.
Oversee performance dashboards and provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress and outcomes.
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with all internal stakeholders, including project management, construction operations, manufacturing operations and corporate functions.
Serve as a liaison between the field and corporate offices to address operational needs and ensure effective communication.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
Proven experience in business transformation, process improvement, or operational excellence, ideally within the manufacturing, construction or renewable energy industries.
Certification in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt) or Lean.
Strong project and program management skills.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
