Responsibilities
Manage order flow across listed and OTC derivatives (futures, options, swaps) and related instruments for global investment portfolios.
Execute transactions using a variety of access methods and execution tactics with a global network of banks and broker-dealers.
Undertake Pre- and Post-Trade Cost Analysis to optimise execution behavior using a variety of analytics platforms.
Act as a liaison for the Portfolio Managers and Analysts, providing them with feedback and market color.
Ensure best execution standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Contribute to enhancements in trading workflows, including algorithmic execution and post-trade analytics.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Strong aptitude in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science and a background in quantitative analysis preferred.
At least 10 years of derivatives trading experience, preferably in a buy-side or outsourced trading environment.
Strong knowledge of global derivatives markets, clearing processes, and regulatory frameworks.
Understanding of multi-asset execution and cross-border trading protocols.
FINRA registration and NFA Introducing Broker experience preferred.
Familiarity with OMS and EMS platforms (e.g., Aladdin, FlexTrade), Fixed Income and FX trading venues and trading protocols.
Effective communication skills with a team-first attitude; self-starter with ability and desire to pursue initiatives and projects independently.
Strong execution expertise, cross-asset knowledge, and the ability to operate in a high-touch environment.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $116,000 and $246,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
