As a senior‑level IT professional you will manage and oversee networking teams, guide architecture, implementations, and operational support, manage people, budget, and projects, and own overall responsibility for these areas.

Job Summary Lead the design, implementation, and operational excellence of Camping World’s global network infrastructure. Provide strategic and technical leadership, oversee a team of directors, engineers, and administrators, manage vendor relationships, and ensure high availability, security, and performance of the company’s communication services.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a multi‑year technology roadmap for network services, ensuring it aligns with the company’s growth, digital transformation, and business objectives.

Provide strategic guidance and technical direction on emerging technologies (e.g., SD‑WAN, SASE, 5G, AI‑driven networking) and make recommendations for their adoption.

Lead the planning, budgeting, and forecasting for all related capital and operational expenditures.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide consultative solutions.

Oversee the design, deployment, and management of the company’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, Cloud and data center connectivity.

Ensure the network is highly available, scalable, and secure, meeting performance and reliability SLAs.

Manage relationships with ISPs and network service providers to optimize connectivity and costs.

Direct the implementation of advanced network security measures (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, Zero Trust Network Access).

Lead the strategy and operations for all network services.

Ensure quality, reliability, and security of all network communications.

Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of the company’s network platforms.

Collaborate with customer service, sales, and operations teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that enhance customer experience and agent efficiency.

Drive the adoption of new technologies such as chatbots, AI‑powered routing, and self‑service options.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of network engineers and administrators.

Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement, and professional growth.

Manage team performance, employee goals, set clear objectives, and conduct regular performance reviews.

Oversee resource allocation and project management for all team initiatives.

Establish and enforce operational standards, policies, and procedures for all owned services.

Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure service quality.

Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements, ensuring favorable terms and service delivery.

Oversee problem and incident management processes, serving as the escalation point for major service disruptions.

Education

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in information & computer science

10+ years of progressive experience in network infrastructure, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director‑level role

8+ years of technical hands‑on network engineering support

3+ years of network architecture solutions design

Proven track record of managing and scaling network infrastructure, including SD‑WAN, routing, switching, and security

Qualifications

Strong understanding of networking and operational support

Strong understanding of Cisco networking, Juniper Networking, VeloCloud SD‑WAN and Fortinet SD‑WAN

Strong understanding of Palo Alto and firewall technologies

Understanding of how network solutions impact business goals, and ability to balance technical feasibility with business realities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and business teams

Proven experience leading technical teams and guiding technical projects from concept to completion

Strong decision making and operational skill

Proven track record of network architecture designs

Excellent problem‑solving skills utilizing internal and external resources to resolve issues

Excellent technical leadership

Deep knowledge of networking

Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP in terms of networking

Network and Firewall Vendor management

People management

Strong understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), security concepts, and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and managing large‑scale technology projects

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization

Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCNP, JNCIP, JNCIE) are highly desirable

Pay Range $192,045.00 – $280,035.00 Annual
