Regional Business Manager, Diagnostic Solutions - Point-of-Care (US) Join BD as Regional Business Manager (RBM) – responsible for leading a regional sales team in Diagnostic Solutions Point of Care.

Job Description:

As sales leader, you will manage a team of Diagnostic Solutions Point of Care Specialists and Key Account Managers, selling the DS Point of Care Product Portfolio in hospitals and non‑acute settings in the assigned territory. You will drive market share growth, protect base business, and build a high‑performing culture. You will evaluate sales competency, execute sales processes, and implement business strategies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and implement business strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and placement objectives.

Promote an inclusive work environment.

Recruit, train, develop, and mentor a regional team of sales professionals.

Recruit, train, develop, and mentor specialists for key accounts.

Identify, hire & develop a strong talent pipeline.

Engage in joint sales calls to mentor and improve sales skills.

Provide accurate and timely forecasts of product sales by unit and revenue.

Ensure consistent implementation of key sales management processes.

Collaborate with BD Strategic Customer Group, Sales Specialists, IDS Director of National Accounts, and other partners to drive conversion and compliance.

Handle regional expenses within budgeted/forecast guidelines.

Organize and lead regional meetings regularly, virtually and in person.

Be a Key Opinion Leader for development within the region.

Advise marketing and other internal teams on commercial activities.

Communicate market information throughout the DS organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree preferred.

3+ years sales management experience or proven leadership experience.

3+ years of clinical market sales; non‑acute selling experience preferred.

5–10 years total medical sales experience.

Track record of attaining/exceeding sales quotas and profitability.

Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM and MS Office (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

Experience in a team selling environment or cross‑functional teams.

Ability to work with and develop relationships at the C‑Suite level.

Strong interpersonal and capital‑management skills.

Clean MVR required.
