Job Responsibilities
Oversee compliance with Oklahoma’s 10-day intake IEP timeline for new students with existing IEPs
Monitor IEP timelines for annual reviews, evaluations, and other key compliance events
Provide training and ongoing support to staff regarding IDEA and Section 504 compliance
Serve as a liaison between the Special Education department and other school departments
Assist with instructional support and classroom substitute duties as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field
Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate and Special Education certification required
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in special education, compliance, or a related role
Demonstrated knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and Oklahoma State Department of Education regulations
Proficiency with EdPlan and strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in compliance auditing or monitoring within a school setting
Prior experience working in a virtual educational environment
