Adecco Creative and Marketing is recruiting a Procurement Packaging Specialist for our client in Louisville, KY. The role supports the Packaging Procurement team in sourcing activities, managing supplier relationships, and coordinating packaging projects across the spirits portfolio.
Base pay range:
$33.00/hr - $43.00/hr.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in sourcing and developing packaging materials—including glass, closures, labels, shippers, and more.
Collect supplier quotes, manage vendor communications, and ensure procurement data is accurately maintained in internal systems.
Support the execution and follow-up of packaging projects by maintaining project trackers, timelines, risk logs, and deliverables.
Provide timely updates to stakeholders and ensure alignment across teams.
Maintain regular communication with suppliers to gather delivery status, troubleshoot issues, and ensure receipt of required documentation (specifications, drawings, certifications, contracts).
Prepare purchase orders and support drafting of basic contract amendments and supplier forms.
Coordinate document routing, approvals, and system updates to support procurement compliance.
Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and R&D teams to ensure packaging specifications are aligned for new product launches and innovation initiatives.
Support readiness activities for commercialization.
Consolidate data for cost analyses, supplier performance reviews, and savings reporting.
Assist with KPI tracking and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in Procurement, ideally within packaging or CPG industries.
Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working with internal teams and external suppliers.
Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP or procurement systems.
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
