The primary role of the LTC (Live Teller Connect) Representative is to provide engaging member‑centric service to our members virtually through the Interactive Teller Machine. This includes handling requests for balance information, transfers, deposits, loan payments, account research, product information, and member service on deposit and loan accounts. The LTC Representative continually seeks opportunities to expand our members’ relationship with the Credit Union through education and tailored solutions.
Responsibilities
Assume responsibility for the efficient, effective, and accurate performance of teller functions using the LTC.
Receive member deposits, loan payments, disburse withdrawals, process account transfers, verify transactions, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Balance daily transactions and verify cash totals.
Investigate and resolve out‑of‑balance conditions.
Provide member service functions, including presenting credit‑union services and products, assisting with financial needs, and ordering checks.
Answer questions and solve problems for members by listening, collecting data, securing answers, and reporting results.
Perform file maintenance, account changes, and reset access for Homebanking and ABIL.
Restrict electronic account access when necessary to prevent potential financial losses.
Resolve member issues or complaints through knowledge of credit‑union products and procedures or by conducting necessary research.
Make decisions exercising good judgment, balancing member interest with organizational objectives.
Take complete ownership of every interaction, including callbacks or extended research.
Complete compliance, training, and all other training offered to LTC Representatives.
Seek ways to streamline work processes and continuously improve the Credit Union.
Represent the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Maintain member and sensitive information with confidentiality.
Treat all co‑workers and members with respect.
Minimum Qualifications
1 year of banking experience as a teller or call‑center service representative.
Knowledge of BSA, Regulation CC, D, E and all other pertinent regulations.
Comprehensive knowledge of all deposit account products and services.
Working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and NCUA regulations.
Exceptional customer‑service skills, tact, diplomacy and a desire to accommodate others.
Ability to respond to member prompts and offer financial products and services tailored to member needs.
Professional and courteous verbal and written communication skills; ability to remain calm with difficult members.
Comfortable being evaluated against performance standards.
Willingness to take initiative to achieve team goals and model a good work ethic.
Proficiency in standard business computer software and ability to acquire knowledge of the Credit Union’s operating system.
Proficient data entry, ten‑key calculator, cash counting and math skills; detail‑oriented.
Ability to acquire working knowledge of Credit Union products and services.
Ability to become a subject‑matter expert in remote delivery channels and discuss these channels with members.
Demonstrated good judgment and discretion when handling confidential member account information.
Ability to effectively handle fluctuating work demands.
Excels in a fast‑paced work environment and has exceptional time‑management skills.
Willingness to keep workspace/branch organized and tidy.
Preferred Qualifications
1 year teller experience and 1 year of call‑center experience.
Understanding of member‑centric environments.
Bi‑lingual preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Pay Scale (Wyoming)
Mid: $16.53
High: $20.67
Max: $24.80
