The primary responsibilities of the Receiving Associate position are to maintain outstanding customer service, generate sales, merchandise product, and support the store management team. Duties and Responsibilities: Unload trucks Sort products Stock products on shelves Ensure aisles are neat and area is clean Greet customers and answer their questions Aid customers in locating merchandising in store, on acehardware.com, as well as, processing special orders Process go-backs (stocking returned products back to shelf) Assist in departmental resets Maintain orderly appearance of register area and supplies stocked Use Point-of-Sale interface to lookup, identify and locate products Actively participate in daily huddle meetings Responsive of safety issues Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by store management Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 40-60lbs pounds frequently and repeatedly to load and unload customer orders. Be on your feet for most of your shift (6 to 8 hours) Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting.
