This role is ideal for a nurse with strong telemetry and cardiac care experience who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. The RN will provide high-quality care to patients transitioning from intensive care, focusing on cardiac monitoring, medication management, and recovery support. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care in a cardiac stepdown setting, including telemetry monitoring and post-acute cardiac care Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Educate patients and families on recovery processes and discharge planning Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Must-Have Skills & Experience Proven experience in Telemetry and Cardiac Stepdown nursing Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize care effectively Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Required Education & Licensure Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania Required Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support) - current and valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - current and valid NIH Stroke Certification - required
