Locums Cardiology Inpatient Wausau, WI (IMLC accepted) Why This Role

- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Setting: Inpatient
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 30, 2026
- Schedule: 7 on / 7 off, 11-hour shifts per day
- Call: 2 nights per week during coverage week (10-minute response time)
- Daily Census: 25-30 patients
- Admissions: 2 per shift
- Support Staff: 2 APPs
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: 30 days
- Temporary Privileges: Available Clinical Details
- Focus: Inpatient cardiology service - consults, rounding, and admissions
- Call Scope: Beeper call with limited call-backs (5-10%)
- Procedures: None required
- Supervision: Responsible for oversight of APPs
- Trauma Level: II
- Licensure: WI or IMLC accepted Requirements
- Board Certified Cardiologist
- Active WI or IMLC medical license
- ACLS certification required Compensation
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
