Locums OB/GYN Hospitalist 24-Hr Shifts Des Moines, IA (IMLC accepted) Why This Role?
- Full-time hospitalist need at a leading regional center
- 24-hour shifts with consistent monthly scheduling
- Handles all OBED patients, emergencies, and maternity transport Assignment Details
- Duration: Starts January 1, 2026 - Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Inpatient Only (24-hour shifts)
- Schedule: 6.5 shifts per month, 7a to 7a, including weekends and holidays Clinical Details:
- OBED with 8 beds
- Approx. 1,389 OBED visits per year; 463 result in deliveries
- Manages emergent OB cases and patients without a primary OB
- Full-scope inpatient OB/GYN
- No supervision of APPs
- Onsite imaging, lab, and pharmacy
- EMR: Epic
- Emergent deliveries (vaginal and C-section) Requirements:
- Board certified or eligible in OB/GYN
- Active IA license or IMLC
- Clean history Compensation
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
