Join Our Team as a Full-Time Anesthesiologist in Jackson, Michigan!
Become a part of a dedicated healthcare community at a Level 2 Trauma Center located in Jackson, Michigan. This facility emphasizes high acuity care, exceptional teamwork, and remarkable opportunities for career advancement. We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist with Critical Care fellowship training to join our growing ICU and surgical team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 8 12 weeks of service in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), including home call coverage
- Oversee a growing team managing complex post-operative patients such as those recovering from cardiac surgery and major vascular procedures
- Deliver comprehensive anesthesia services during non-ICU weeks, including general operating room coverage, obstetric anesthesia, and healthy pediatric cases
- Share OR call duties proportionally based on ICU coverage
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a Level 2 Trauma Center setting
- Engage in clinical decision-making, protocol development, and care coordination
- Provide teaching and mentoring opportunities with residents and APPs
- Utilize Epic EMR for integrated patient documentation
- Contribute to a department focused on clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuous improvement
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine
- Clean Malpractice and License History
- Available to start ASAP
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
- MI Medical License (or willingness to obtain)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)
- DEA and CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start)
